When the AI provides suggestions, review them carefully. AI suggestions are tools to inspire and assist, but you should always maintain creative control over your work.
You can accept suggestions as-is, modify them to fit your style, or use them as inspiration for your own writing. Click "Insert" to add suggestions to your manuscript, or "Copy" to use them elsewhere.
If you don't like the initial suggestions, click "Get More Suggestions" to see alternative options. You can request multiple variations until you find something that works.
Belbri supports multiple AI providers. The system automatically selects the best available provider based on your API key configuration. Supported providers include:
Note: To use AI features, you need to configure an API key in your settings. The AI status is displayed in the Writing Tools page, showing which provider is active or if you're in fallback mode.
AI suggestions are meant to assist and inspire, not replace your creative voice. Always review and edit AI-generated content to ensure it matches your style and vision.
The more context you provide, the better the AI suggestions will be. Include genre, tone, and any relevant story details when requesting assistance.
Don't settle for the first suggestion. Use "Get More Suggestions" to explore different options and find the best fit for your work.
